Its open design makes it particularly well suited for installation around a wood-burning stove or existing fireplace opening. Constructed from substantial cast iron, the surround combines durability with decorative character. The enamelled finish provides an attractive contrast to the sculptural form of the ironwork, creating a distinctive focal point suitable for both traditional properties and more contemporary interiors. This fireplace forms part of a specialist collection of reclaimed and restored architectural fireplaces spanning the georgian, victorian and edwardian periods, including examples influenced by the art nouveau, art deco and arts and crafts movements. Carefully selected for quality, character and authenticity, reclaimed fireplaces are professionally restored to a high standard while preserving the architectural details and period character that make each piece distinctive. A handsome architectural feature ideal for use around a suitably installed wood-burning stove, traditional fire opening or as a decorative chimneypiece.
