the lamp has a strong architectural quality, with its heavy brass structure displaying geometric detailing characteristic of art deco and transitional mid-century design. The naturally warm tone of the brass complements the coloured glass beautifully, giving the piece considerable decorative presence even when unlit.

the hand-moulded stained glass shade is assembled with leaded divisions, creating a richly patterned surface that comes alive when illuminated.
