A rare and highly distinctive British Machine Age Art Deco desk lamp by Joseph Lucas, dating from circa 1930.
Combining streamlined industrial design with the glamour of the Art Deco period, the lamp features a sculptural chrome-plated metal frame supporting its particularly desirable original pale green cylindrical shade.
The shade is suspended between two elegantly curved chrome supports rising from a stepped, architectural base with characteristic linear detailing.
