Designed specifically to sit neatly within the corner of a room, the cabinet combines elegant display space with practical concealed storage. The upper section features a glazed panelled door opening to reveal shaped display shelves, ideal for presenting ceramics, glassware, books or decorative objects. The lower section is enclosed by a solid panelled cupboard door, opening to reveal a fitted internal shelf for additional storage. Both sections are complemented by decorative metal escutcheons, and the cabinet retains its key. A moulded cornice crowns the cabinet, while the substantial plinth base and restrained architectural lines give the piece a particularly handsome and timeless appearance. The cabinet is of single-piece construction and does not separate for transport. Presented in great antique condition, with minor age-related wear consistent with its 19th century origin and contributing to its authentic character.
