the upper section takes the form of a beautifully constructed oak barrel, attractively bound with brass bands that provide a striking decorative contrast against the warm tones of the timber. Designed to accommodate a plant pot or jardinière, the recessed upper section measures approximately 26 cm by 26 cm.

the barrel is raised upon elegantly shaped cabriole legs, giving the piece a refined and graceful silhouette while providing excellent stability. The curved form of the legs contrasts particularly well with the substantial barrel above and adds considerable decorative character.

a useful lower shelf connects the supports, providing additional stability while also creating a secondary surface for displaying a smaller plant, ceramics or other decorative objects.
