The fox’s head features a finely textured finish that gives definition and character to the fur, while a pair of ruby-red cabochon eyes provides a striking decorative accent. The understated bar design allows the sculptural fox motif to remain the focal point of the piece. The brooch is unmarked but has been professionally tested, with the fox’s head testing as 14ct gold and the wirework pin as 9ct gold.

The piece has a net weight of approximately 4.8 grams. Its classic sporting and hunting-inspired design makes it suitable for wear as either a traditional brooch or tie pin. Presented in excellent antique condition with no noted damage, bruises, gemstone chips or repairs. The traditional C-clasp remains in good working order and closes securely.
