The substantial v12 block forms the architectural foundation of the table, with its twelve cylinder bores deliberately exposed to showcase the engineering and mechanical complexity of the original engine. Chrome-finished pistons and connecting rods rise dramatically from the block to support the glass tabletop, creating the impression of an engine captured in motion. The engine components have undergone extensive preparation and cleaning before being finished in a highly reflective chrome-effect powder coating. This brilliant metallic surface highlights the intricate castings, machined openings and structural detailing of the v12 block while giving the industrial components a sophisticated, almost sculptural appearance. A substantial rectangular toughened safety-glass top rests above the engine assembly, with polished edges and gently rounded corners providing an elegant contrast to the mechanical structure beneath.
