An evocative early 20th-century Art Nouveau pendant light, circa 1910, combining a dramatic hand-moulded, hand-blown glass flame shade with original bronze fittings.
The richly patinated glass displays deep red coloration and an organic flame-like silhouette characteristic of the Art Nouveau and Arts & Crafts periods.
The original bronze gallery and fittings retain an attractive aged patina, giving the piece an authentic period character.
When illuminated, the coloured glass produces a particularly warm and atmospheric glow, making this an impressive decorative light for an entrance hall, bedroom, dining space or period interior.
The fixture has been professionally inspected and rewired using period-appropriate three-core 0.75 mm fabric-braided cable. It has been earthed, tested and is in working order.
A highly decorative example of antique lighting, particularly appealing for collectors of Art Nouveau glass, Arts & Crafts design and early 20th-century lighting.
