The silver surface features finely executed floral engine-turned guilloché decoration, overlaid with oval enamelled bands in striking deep purple and white. The contrasting colours beautifully complement the polished sterling silver and emphasise the flowing decorative character of the piece. The buckle is constructed with twin fastening prongs and a practical swivel-action back, combining decorative craftsmanship with functional period design. Both components bear matching Birmingham hallmarks for 1910.

Crafted from sterling silver, the buckle has a substantial weight of approximately 36.6 grams. Presented in very good antique condition with only minor age-related surface marks. There are no noted bruises, enamel chips, scratches, damage or repairs, and the piece remains free from later inscriptions or monograms.
