The chest features four drawers arranged in a classic configuration of two smaller drawers above two generously proportioned full-width drawers, providing versatile storage for clothing, linens and other household items. Each drawer is fitted with an attractive copper cup handle, introducing a warm metallic contrast against the natural tones of the pine and adding considerable character to the understated design. The chest stands on elegant turned legs, creating a lighter and more refined silhouette while demonstrating the quality craftsmanship evident throughout the piece. The pine displays particularly attractive natural grain and warm colouring, with the variations and established character of the timber contributing to its inviting appearance.

At 91.5 cm wide and 71 cm high, the chest offers excellent storage capacity while retaining manageable proportions. Its versatile scale makes it equally suitable for a bedroom, dressing room, hallway or living space. Presented in good vintage condition, with appropriate signs of age and use consistent with its 20th-century origin. A highly appealing and practical chest of drawers combining beautifully grained pine, four useful drawers, characterful copper cup handles and elegant turned legs within a timeless design.
