A handsome vintage English sterling silver three-light candelabra, hallmarked Birmingham 1988 and made by Barker Ellis Silver Co. Elegantly proportioned in a traditional design, the candelabra features a central light flanked by two scrolling branches. The branches are enriched with corded detailing and graceful scroll decoration, creating a balanced and sophisticated silhouette. The central stem is fashioned in a knopped baluster form, drawing inspiration from classical English silver designs. It rises from a substantial stepped circular weighted base, providing stability while maintaining an elegant profile. Each of the three candle sconces is individually formed with broad circular drip pans, making the piece both decorative and functional. The polished sterling silver surface displays a beautiful bright patina that accentuates the contours and decorative detailing.
