the lamp is conceived as a miniature traditional street light, with a tall column rising from a substantial circular base to support a hand-moulded glass shade.

the silver-toned hammered surface lends the piece a distinctly arts & crafts character, with the intentionally worked finish creating texture and visual depth throughout the metalwork.

the domed glass shade provides a pleasing contrast to the pewter structure and softly diffuses the illumination when lit. Decorative detailing throughout the column and base further enhances the historic architectural character of the design.

constructed from hammered pewter with hand-moulded glass and bakelite components, the lamp retains a b22 bayonet-fit bulb holder.

a highly decorative piece of period-style lighting, particularly suited to a library, study, hallway or traditional interior.
