The lamp displays the clean geometric character associated with 1930s lighting design, with its broad bell-form opaline shade providing an elegant contrast to the polished chrome-plated fittings. The white glass softly diffuses the light while creating a distinctive sculptural profile typical of the period. A particularly attractive example of functional art deco lighting, equally suited to use as a desk lamp, reading light or decorative accent within a period or contemporary interior. Professionally rewired and fitted with a b22 bayonet bulb holder.
