The upper section incorporates two generously proportioned drawers, providing useful storage for smaller household items. Both retain their original iron handles, an appealing period detail that contrasts particularly well with the warm tones of the pitch pine. Below is a substantial double-door cupboard opening to reveal a single internal shelf. This creates two practical storage levels and provides ample enclosed space for tableware, linens, books or other household items.
