The rectangular top provides a generous and practical surface for books, drinks or decorative objects while showcasing the magnificent natural grain and character of the oak. The table is raised upon finely turned legs united by a substantial supporting stretcher, providing excellent strength and stability while creating a beautifully balanced traditional silhouette. Particularly appealing is the oak itself, displaying pronounced natural grain and attractive figuring throughout. Rich, warm tones and an appealing aged patina give the timber considerable depth and character. The restrained design allows the quality of the timber and craftsmanship to remain the principal decorative features, making the table particularly versatile across a wide range of interiors. Very well constructed with a reassuringly solid feel and presented in good antique condition, with appropriate signs of age and use consistent with its early 20th-century origin. At only 80 cm wide and 41 cm high, this is a particularly desirable compact coffee table, ideally proportioned for smaller seating areas while still providing a useful surface. Its timeless design allows it to complement traditional, country-house and sophisticated contemporary interiors alike. Dimensions: Height: 41 cm Width: 80 cm Depth: 50 cm See less
