Elegant vintage floor lamp with two separate light sources: a wide uplighter at the top for indirect ambient light, and an additional, adjustable reading lamp with a conical metal shade below. The combination of warm brass tones, white shades, and a black base gives the lamp a very graphic, typically mid-century modern look.
The slender, almost sculptural design is particularly striking. The reading arm extends from a curved metal tube and ends in a movable shade that can be precisely adjusted. The uplighter diffuses the light softly upwards while also providing pleasant ambient lighting for the room.
The lamp features a round black base, a separate foot switch on the cable, and two different switch/control options for the two light sources.
Condition:
The overall condition is good with visible signs of age and use. Slight patina, surface marks, and minor signs of wear are visible on the metal frame and base. The white umbrellas also show a few small spots or marks, consistent with their age.
