19th-century folk armchair with a woven rush seat and a backrest formed by three slightly curved rails. The uprights extend to the top of the back, while the armrests rest on the front legs. Low stretchers reinforce the sturdy frame.
The wood has a beautiful aged patina, with marks of use and a few old repairs. Its simple construction and slender proportions give this traditional rural chair a distinctive character.
