The rectangular top features an elaborate central circular floral medallion surrounded by finely detailed scrolling foliage and geometric borders. The dense hand-worked decoration creates a striking contrast against the warm, dark tones of the rosewood and demonstrates the highly decorative tradition of Indian inlaid furniture. The table stands on four low supports, with additional inlaid detailing continuing around the apron and legs. Its compact proportions make it particularly versatile, suitable as a traditional bed table, breakfast tray, laptop table or decorative low occasional table. Both functional and highly ornamental, this is an attractive example of Indian decorative craftsmanship with considerable visual impact. Material: Indian rosewood with white decorative inlay Measurements: Height: 20.3 cm Width: 45.7 cm Depth: 33 cm Condition: Very good overall condition, with minor variations consistent with handmade craftsmanship.
