Original vintage LC4 chaise longue manufactured by Cassina in Italy, designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand.
This example features a black-finished tubular steel frame with a naturally patterned brown cowhide mattress and a black leather cylindrical headrest.
The mattress has been refurbished with new foam and new leather piping, while retaining the warm appearance and distinctive texture of the cowhide. The black frame and base display an attractive vintage patina with minor signs of wear.
The chaise longue bears Cassina manufacturer's markings and the stamped model and serial number LC4 – 26913.
