The six-door front is arranged in three double-door bays, each with an escutcheon and antique-style key to open, and the contrast between the cool painted body and the warmer natural top gives it real visual lift.

The case is built from old pine in an antique Swedish grey finish, with heavy hand-rubbed distressing along door edges, corners, and the plinth that lets the wood show through. A natural wood top sits over softly eased edges, and three removable shelves inside keep the storage flexible.

This one wants a room that already has some texture, layered linens, antique rugs, a little patina on the metals. It works as a dining sideboard with platters and ceramics on top, as a long entry console under a mirror or pair of sconces, or behind a sofa in a generously scaled living room. Pair with rush-seat chairs, soft white upholstery, and warm brass for a Scandinavian-country feel. See less
