Each of the four doors carries a large raised diamond lozenge motif set over a vertically fluted center panel, with small dark antique key pulls and a row of short tapering feet under the case.

The sideboard is built from reclaimed pine and finished in a soft whitewash that lets warm wood show through at the corners and along the carving. Inside, four fixed shelves keep the storage organized, and the slightly overhanging molded top adds a quiet bit of formality to the country silhouette.

At 46 inches tall, it works beautifully as a dining-room sideboard with lamps and platters, in an entry where you want height and storage, or as a substantial display piece in a study or library. Pair it with bleached oak, antique mirrors, soft white upholstery, and a hand-knotted rug. The carved fronts read as quietly serious, especially against simpler upholstery and natural linen. See less
