The paint sits thin over the beechwood. Fine grain still shows through it on the legs, and the raised rings hold a soft grey shade where the light falls away.

Cream chenille covers the seat cushion, close enough in tone to the frame that the eye runs straight up into the lattice of the spindle back. Curved brackets meet the legs under the seat rail, repeating the swell of the bamboo turning at a smaller scale. The chair is 19 inches wide and 34.5 inches high. Two come in a set. See less
