The round top reads as one clean surface, with only faint radial lines hinting at the mechanism that lets the table grow from 66 inches closed to 84 inches open.

Beneath, a sculptural pedestal carries dense reeded carving across every facet, anchored by a broad plinth with four buttress-like projections that splay outward for a stable, grounded stance. The top is built with an ash veneer over an oak core, with a faux bois base that carries the carved detailing.

A working white finish washes across the entire piece, matte and even, allowing the parallel grooves of the reeded pedestal to do the visual work. This one earns its place at the center of a formal dining room, a round breakfast room, or a generous entry rotunda used for occasional dining. Pair it with upholstered host chairs in linen or muted velvet, a low brass or plaster chandelier, and a soft wool rug in a neutral tone. The pale finish keeps the room feeling open while the carved base adds enough weight to hold its own against tall millwork or a darker floor. See less
