The vessels feature a pristine white ground covered in a delicate, all-over wirework pattern of stylized clouds. The central decoration is a bold, vibrant motif of blooming purple and blue irises with long, sweeping green leaves, rendered in rich enamel and outlined in fine gold-toned wire.

Each jar comes with a matching domed lid and features prominent, bright gold-toned (gilt) rims at the mouth and base, accented by a scalloped black border. The interiors are finished in a solid, deep blue enamel. Originally designed as tea caddies, this substantial, heavy pair is perfect for display as a centerpiece, flanking a mantel, or storing tea and small items in a living room or study.
