A striking vintage studio pottery vase featuring an elegant, elongated cylindrical silhouette and a richly variegated turquoise glaze. The glossy surface reveals subtle tonal shifts from vibrant peacock blue to deep teal and green, creating beautiful depth and movement across the otherwise minimalist form.
The vase's clean architectural lines and restrained proportions reflect the modernist design sensibility of the mid-20th century. A narrow band of exposed reddish-brown clay at the base provides a warm, earthy contrast to the luminous glaze.
Handcrafted in stoneware, the vessel features a glazed interior and bears an incised artist's signature and the number "25" on its underside. The maker remains unidentified.
A handsome example of vintage studio ceramics, equally compelling as a standalone sculptural object or displayed with other modernist pottery.
