Each figure is fashioned from sheet copper in a flat, silhouetted form, with softly modeled shoulders, defined hooves, and a delicately incised eye and muzzle. Tall, branching antlers rise in slender, tapering tines, lending a regal, almost calligraphic quality to the profile. Each deer is supported by slim vertical rods and long horizontal copper bars with brass spacers, which are mounted to a warm, honey-toned oak plinth for tabletop display. The copper has weathered into a richly layered verdigris, with mottled passages of seafoam and sage green drifting across deep russet and chocolate-brown ground. Raised edges and soldered seams add subtle outlines that catch the light, while the patina’s irregular, cloud-like variation speaks to years of outdoor exposure. Graceful, sculptural, and unmistakably folk-art in spirit, the pair captures nature in motion with timeworn charm.

Display these weathervanes on a console, mantel, sideboard, or bookshelf, or set them on an entry table or porch ledge, where the verdigris can play against natural light. They complement Rustic, Farmhouse, Lodge, Americana, and Organic Modern interiors. To care for them, dust gently with a soft dry brush, avoid polishing or chemical cleaners so the patina is preserved, and keep them away from excess moisture on the wooden bases. Each weathervane measures 26 inches (660 mm) wide, 5.75 inches (146 mm) deep, and 34.5 inches (876 mm) high. Condition is very good, with a natural verdigris patina, minor surface wear and oxidation, and no visible repairs or losses. Add this striking pair to your collection today. See less
