A luminous field of turquoise and aqua anchors the center, framed by bold blocks of ochre, butter yellow, periwinkle, and sage gray, while a rust-red form rises through the middle like an abstracted figure or doorway. Slashes of black and flicks of white cut across the surface, adding energy, directional movement, and graphic contrast, and a heavy black band runs along the left edge to ground the composition. The paint is applied in a mix of flat, opaque planes and drier, feathered brushwork that reveals underlying color and the texture of the weave. Raw white canvas peeks through at the margins, lending the piece an airy, unfinished spontaneity, and a signature appears at the lower right. The work is presented in a slim, natural wood frame with a warm, light grain that keeps the focus on the color and gesture. Bold yet balanced, it channels the spirit of Abstract Expressionism with a fresh, coastal-leaning palette.

Hang this painting above a sofa, console, or bed, in an entry, dining room, or office, where its scale and color can anchor the space. It complements Mid-Century Modern, Contemporary, Abstract, Eclectic, and Coastal interiors. To care for it, dust the frame with a soft dry cloth, avoid touching the painted surface, and keep it away from direct sunlight, humidity, and heat sources. The piece measures 30 inches (762 mm) wide, 1.25 inches (32 mm) deep, and 40 inches (1016 mm) high. Condition is excellent, with vibrant, intact paint, no visible wear or damage, and no restoration needed. Make this expressive statement piece yours today. See less
