The vessel features a striking monochromatic palette, with a rich cobalt blue ground covered in a sweeping, dynamic pattern of large peony blossoms and foliage in varying shades of blue, light blue, and white. All the intricate floral details are outlined in fine gold-toned wirework.

The jar comes with a matching domed lid that continues the floral motif and is finished with a gold-toned rim. The mouth and base also feature prominent gilded bands. The interior is coated in a deep, dark blue enamel. It rests on a custom-fitted, dark wood circular display stand. This generously sized jar is perfect for display on a mantel or sideboard, and its large capacity also makes it suitable for storing tea leaves or other items.
