All our carpets are cleaned in a professional carpet laundry. The first step of cleaning consists of thorough beating of the carpet to remove dust and mites, if any. The subsequent pre-wash with a PH neutral soap removes stains. During the main wash, the carpet is washed by hand through and through wet - a special soap is gentle on the fibers and preserves the carpet's natural wool grease. Machine pressing and spinning are used for initial dewatering, after which the carpets are hung to dry in permanent circulating air. See less
