Beautifully constructed from dark-stained, steam-bent beechwood, this elegant ensemble highlights the iconic craftsmanship pioneered by Gebrüder Thonet. The set consists of a two-seater settee (sofa) and a matching pair of barrel-back armchairs. Each piece features a continuous, masterfully fluid bentwood frame that sweeps seamlessly from the curved backrest down to integrated armrests. The open back is defined by a rhythmic sequence of vertical wooden splats, offering a striking linear contrast to the organic curves of the frame. The seats are formed from contoured plywood panels showcasing rich grain patterns. with its clean lines and timeless aesthetic, this authentic set brings historical Viennese café charm and sophisticated early 20th-century design into modern dining rooms, entryways, or living spaces.
