This elegant piece is strongly reminiscent of the innovative modernist lighting designs produced by famous national enterprises such as Napako and Lustry Kamenický Šenov\. The floor lamp is constructed with a slender, high-polished chrome-plated tubular steel frame anchored by a heavy, tiered circular dome base. The defining functional feature is its ingenious telescopic height-adjustable mechanism on the central stem, secured by a solid locking screw, allowing the user to seamlessly customize the overall height. Additionally, a sweeping arched upper arm can be rotated to direct the light exactly where needed. The crowning element of this fixture is a beautiful, hand-blown cased glass shade in a striking, rich cobalt blue hue. The conic glass shade gently diffuses a warm glare-free atmosphere while projecting a clear downward task light, making it a perfect sculptural statement piece next to an armchair, writing desk, or mid-century lounge corner.
