Teak bench with built-in planter. Scandinavian production, 1960s.
Designed to house plants and decorative arrangements, this teak planter reflects the Scandinavian design focus of the 1960s on integrating natural elements into the home. The rectangular top houses a recessed metal planter, creating a balance between function and formal purity. The clean lines and the contrast between the teak and metal insert recall the Nordic design language of the mid-20th century. Good condition. May show signs of aging.
