Teak bench with removable planter insert. Made by Åvérskogs Industrier, Sweden, 1965.
Designed to integrate greenery into the home, this teak bench, produced by Åvérskogs Industrier in 1965, combines decorative function and quality construction in a single piece. The slatted top houses a removable planter insert in black lacquered metal, while the elongated proportions and lightness of the structure recall Scandinavian design's sensitivity to nature and domesticity.
