A characterful jar from Puglia, with two handles and a Tree of Life painted in free, green brushstrokes.
Dimensions: height 26.5 cm, diameter approximately 18 cm.
The green decoration stands out beautifully against the soft cream glaze, while the warm terracotta remains visible around the base. The Tree of Life is traditionally associated with good fortune and longevity. Together with the jar’s simple, strong form, it gives the piece its distinctive character.
Beautiful on its own or with a few dried branches, on a table or sideboard. An Italian piece with a sense of history that sits naturally in a contemporary interior.
In lovely antique condition, with normal signs of use and no damage.
