Charming antique-style cast iron Puppo dog still bank, attributed to Hubley, featuring an adorable black-and-white puppy seated on a textured brown pillow. The puppy has expressive painted eyes, floppy black ears, and a whimsical bee painted on its side.

The Puppo design dates to the early 1900s and is associated with Hubley's cast iron banks of the 1910s–1920s.

This substantial piece weighs approximately 3.23 pounds and displays extensive surface oxidation, distressed original-style paint, and the beautifully timeworn character associated with early cast iron collectibles.

A particularly interesting feature is a faint raised casting mark on the underside of the bank, appearing to read “22,” located just to the left of the recessed slotted screw. This marking is incorporated into the casting and may represent a foundry or mold identification number.

Attribution Note: This bank follows the historic Hubley Puppo design and is believed to be an older example. The exact manufacturing date and Hubley attribution have not been independently authenticated. See less
