Hand-signed in pencil by the artist in the lower right, the lower left is inscribed with the notable printmaking designation Imp (impressit), confirming Moskowitz personally inked and pulled this impression herself rather than utilizing a commercial press. Moskowitz was highly regarded for her mid-20th-century secular and Judaica works, creating a small, limited series of celebratory blocks around the early 1960s to gift for family milestones. This piece showcases excellent ink density and rich textured wood grain patterns characteristic of her hand-printed proofs. The artwork comes housed in a clean, multi-tiered white and black double frame measuring 16 by 11 inches overall, with a sealed paper backing and attached wire hanging hardware. The block print remains exceptionally crisp and bold, serving as a beautiful mid-century collector's piece. See less
