The piece beautifully employs the historic Sommerso (submerged) technique, encasing a vibrant, fluid emerald-green glass core and yellow secondary banding seamlessly inside a thick, heavy clear crystal mantle.
What distinguishes this specific example is its architectural, sharp-edged rhombus (diamond) cross-section profile. Every outer surface has been intricately flat-cut and cold-polished by master artisans. The sharp geometric facets interact dramatically with natural light, creating an evolving play of refraction, depth and colour shifting depending on the angle of view.
Strikingly minimalist yet luxurious, this architectural block vase serves as a bold sculptural centrepiece, perfectly suited for high-end modern, eclectic or Mid-Century interiors. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
