All our rugs are cleaned in a professional rug laundry. The first step of the cleaning process consists of a thorough beating of the rug to remove dust and mites, if any. The subsequent pre-wash with a PH neutral soap removes stains. During the main wash, the rug is washed by hand through and through wet - a special soap is gentle on the fibers and preserves the rug's natural wool grease.
