Produced in Italy during the 1970s or 1980s, the piece captures a nostalgic family theme, featuring a curved hood, a structured carriage body, and tiny spoked wheels.

The miniature is crafted from 800 continental silver, an alloy traditionally favored by European silversmiths for its durability in detailed, structural work. The surface retains partial traces of the original 800 purity stamp, worn slightly over time, which confirms its silver standard.

Tuscan and Northern Italian silversmiths during the late twentieth century frequently created small-scale replicas of household furniture, toys, and transport items, applying traditional silversmithing techniques to capture everyday objects in precious metal.
