The piece features a dark, heavily patinated bronze finish, with the facial features, hair curls, and ushnisha (topknot) highlighted in a bright, contrasting gold paint that has worn beautifully over time.

The face bears a calm, meditative expression with downcast eyes and elongated earlobes. The lock comes with its original matching key, which features an ornate, pierced bow and is also accented with gold paint. The body of the lock, visible when turned over, is decorated with a central wheel motif surrounded by various traditional auspicious symbols, including fish and floral elements. The lock is attached to a thick, heavy, U-shaped metal shackle.

The piece is displayed on a bed of wooden slips covered in traditional script, adding to its historical and cultural aesthetic. This substantial, eye-catching object serves as a unique decorative accent, paperweight, or collector's item.
