The spherical body is finished in a vibrant turquoise-green enamel and heavily decorated with intricate, raised gilded metalwork, featuring dynamic, twisting dragons and a central flaming pearl motif, surrounded by small, colorful enamel clouds and accents.

The vessel is supported by three prominent, gilded metal legs, each topped with a detailed, sculpted beast-face mask. The sides feature ornate, gilded handles sculpted as dragon heads with curving loop terminals. The domed lid is crafted from gilded metal with intricate, pierced openwork featuring floral and dragon designs, allowing incense smoke to escape. It is topped with a detailed, seated guardian lion finial.

A recessed red rectangular seal is visible on the flat underside of the base. This heavy, eye-catching piece serves as a stunning focal point for a mantel, shelf, or collector's display.
