The vessel is supported by three prominent, gilded metal legs, each topped with a detailed, sculpted beast-face mask. The sides feature ornate, gilded handles sculpted as dragon heads with curving loop terminals. The domed lid is crafted from gilded metal with intricate, pierced openwork featuring floral and geometric designs, allowing incense smoke to escape. It is topped with a detailed, seated guardian lion finial holding a small object.
