Unlike Western padlocks, this traditional sliding bar lock requires a specific sequence of pushing and pulling the internal brass bolt to unlatch it.

The body features deeply engraved borders and a charming, stylized floral motif near the keyhole, showcasing traditional Chinese craftsmanship. The heavy solid brass displays a rich, naturally aged patina with a textured, matte finish that gives it an incredible antique character. It is not only a clever historical gadget but also a beautiful sculptural object that makes a fantastic conversation starter, a unique paperweight, or a collectible desk accessory for history buffs and design enthusiasts.
