This is a striking and vibrant pair of matching cloisonné enamel vases. Featuring an elegant, elongated baluster form (often referred to as a Guanyin vase) with a slender neck and flared base, each vase is finished with a dark metal rim and base.
The bodies are covered in a bright, golden-yellow enamel and heavily decorated with intricate, wire-outlined motifs. The vases are designed as a complementary pair: one features a dynamic, green-scaled dragon, while the other depicts a colorful phoenix (fenghuang) in shades of red, green, and blue. Both are surrounded by stylized, swirling white and blue clouds. The high-gloss enamel finish gives the pieces a luminous, jewel-like quality.
On the flat, dark metal underside of one vase, a recessed square seal containing four characters is visible. These eye-catching pieces serve as stunning decorative accents for a mantel, shelf, or collector's display.

The cloisonné enamel is vibrant and largely intact, with a smooth, glossy finish. There are minor surface scratches and slight wear visible on the polished metal rims and bases, along with some natural patina and tarnishing typical of aged metal. The recessed seal on the base is clear and legible. The structural integrity of both vases is solid. Please review all photos carefully for a detailed view of the condition. less
