This striking vintage 20-inch Chinese porcelain figure depicts a joyful Budai (Laughing Buddha) in a stretching pose with raised arms. He holds a colorful beaded mala in one hand and a sacred fly-whisk in the other. The statue features a contrast between glossy crackle-glazed (Ge-ware style) robes and matte bisque skin with fine hand-painted facial features and anatomical shading. At 20 inches tall, this statement piece makes an impressive addition to any Asian art collection, altar, or interior decor space. Condition:
