An exceptional Mid-Century Modern Danish rosewood dining suite designed by Niels Otto Møller for J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik. This rare set features six iconic Model 78 side chairs paired with a matching Sibast rosewood refectory dining table featuring self-storing extension leaves. Fully restored to their original glory. Crafted in high-grade figure-rich Brazilian rosewood, the set displays vivid natural grain patterns, deep auburn tones, and organic lines, unbelievable colors on the rosewood. Iconic Model 78 chairs showcase Møller’s sculpted triple-slat backrests and tapered legs. The refectory table boasts a streamlined apron and elegantly tapered legs, offering versatile seating options for both daily use and larger gatherings.

Clean finish with light, age-appropriate surface wear (minor surface scratches/minor edge wear consistent with vintage age and use). Woven Seats: Original paper cord weave across all six chairs remains tight and functional overall. Note: Slight fraying/looseness present on the front lip cord of one chair (as shown in detailed photos) Restoration Process: Thorough cleaning and repairs of paper cloth chairs. Full veneer restoration and restored finish applied to ensure functionality and beauty. They are vintage but fully restored for their new owner. less
