Two doors hold framed woven panels, and two drawers below carry matching woven fronts and iron ring pulls. A metal lock plate and a slide latch close the doors, and a stretcher base with turned spindles gives the legs a lift off the floor. The color is rich and warm, and the weave adds texture.

The style comes from the faux bamboo furniture that has been popular in Asia and the West for generations. At 31.5 inches wide, 15 inches deep and 49.5 inches tall, it is a slender piece that fits an entry, a hallway, a bedroom corner or a bathroom wall. The doors hide stored items, the drawers hold small things, and the top is clear for a lamp or a plant. It brings a warm, tropical note to a plain room.
