Signed Uli Böege Mosaic table, 1995.
Monumentally-sized, super rare example of Post Punk Los Angeles artist Uli Boege's foray into furniture-as-art. I've never seen a piece this large or this beautiful. Please research the retrospective an LA gallery held of his work to learn more.
The table is a wonderful and artistic representation of the artist and works very well in many settings, from living room, guest room to garden.
All hand crafted, the table represents an emerging need to add more decorative and practical pieces to otherwise flat spaces.
Iron frame with poured in place concrete and cermaic/terracotta/mosiac inlay. Boege rendered his name in cermamic on the top of this example which is extremely unique. Also signed verso.
