The wide frame is stained a deep walnut and covered edge to edge in white leaf inlay, so the pattern shows as fine white veining against the dark wood. Narrow black and white banding runs along the inner and outer edges. Inlay on this scale takes many hours of skilled hand work, and the leaves stay sharp and evenly set around the full circle.

Hang it over a sofa, a long console, a fireplace or the head of a dining room to give a large wall one strong, round focal point. The walnut tone sits with leather, linen and dark wood, and the white inlay keeps the frame from feeling heavy. Round mirrors of this size are hard to find in inlay, and the form is as traditional as it is useful.
