The wood keeps its natural brown tone, so the pattern reads in soft contrast rather than stark white on dark. Fine black and white banding finishes the inner and outer edges. Work at this scale takes many hours of patient hand setting, and the leaves stay crisp and evenly spaced all the way around.

At 36 inches across, it fills a wall without crowding it. Hang it over a console, a dresser or a dining sideboard, or lean it on a deep mantel. The warm, natural wood suits plaster walls, rattan, linen and soft earth colors, and the fern pattern gives a plain room something to look at up close.
